CHAD Data Ltd.

Website: www.chad-data.com

CHAD Data

CHAD Data Ltd. is a Canadian company holding all ownership and trading rights to extensive Geophysical Potential Field databases in Western and Northern Canada. CHAD Data Ltd. (CHAD) was formed in April 2012, as a spinoff company from GEDCO, when GEDCO was sold to Schlumberger. The name CHAD is simply an anagram made up of the initials of the two largest shareholders, Henry Dunfield and Andreas Cordsen. John Peirce and Bob Charters are also shareholders in the company. Andreas Cordsen, P.Geoph., is the President and CEO of CHAD. CHAD holds a current APEGA Permit to Practice.

CHAD’s geophysical databases consist of High Resolution AeroMagnetic (HRAM) data and Gravity data in Western and Northern Canada. CHAD continues to license this data to all interested parties, including companies exploring for oil and gas, minerals, deep geothermal energy, and other resources in Western and Northern Canada.

CHAD’s HRAM databases consist of approximately 637,600 line km of data which cover large parts of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin in Alberta and BC, as well as most of the Canadian part of the Williston Basin in SE Saskatchewan. Our HRAM data were all acquired with GPS technology, and tight flight and tie-line spacings suitable for most intra-sedimentary exploration targets. The HRAM data have been culturally edited to remove all identifiable man-made magnetic artifacts and noise.

CHAD’s gravity databases are comprised of a variety of vintages, ranging from older land based data acquired in parts of the Mackenzie Delta and AB/BC Foothills, through extensive on-ice coverage in the Beaufort Sea (approx. 74,500 stations), to two contemporary airborne data sets acquired in the year 2000 (approx. 20,460 line km). The ground and airborne data have inner and outer terrain/ice corrections computed and applied where applicable.

407
Cordax Evaluation Technologies

Website: www.cordax.com

Cordax

Cordax, with over 1000 deployments in 8 countries, utilizes the Logging While Tripping technology as well as the ZoneGrader & ZoneTuner outputs, provides Operators with well specific petrophysical and geomechanical data to minimize unscheduled completions events (screen outs, and wasted horsepower) and enhance production efficiency. The technology allows for quick turnaround to allow Operators in the manufacturing mode to adopt the technology without impeding this process.

Logging While Tripping:
The logging while tripping technique provides cost effective open hole logs with virtually no extra rig time, while remaining blind to the drilling operation. The Cordax tool carriers are installed into the bottom hole assembly (BHA) and drilling of the lateral commences as per usual. Once final TD has been reached the measurement tools are pumped down and are seated inside the Cordax carriers. Once seated the rig trips back to surface with the BHA while the Cordax logging tools collect the data. During the trip out of the hole the Operator has the ability to rotate, circulate or drop back down if conditions require. As the Cordax carriers come back to surface the data is processed and triple combo data is used to generate the ZoneGrader output.

ZoneGrader:
Additional petrophysical and geomechanical outputs are plotted through the horizontal using the triple combo data that was acquired. These include young modulus (YM), poisson's ratio (PR), water saturation, lithology and closure stress. The closure stress calculated is then used in the ZoneTuner software to help strategically stimulate the horizontal.

ZoneTuner:
ZoneTuner is a horizontal well completion optimization platform which allows the user to find the most efficient spacing between perforation clusters and stage length (if required) based on a single formation property input. The objective is to find the depths at which the formation property is most homogenous for a given number of clusters in a stage. The software will look for the lowest differential in the chosen curve across a stage based on a set of parameters set by the user.
