CHAD Data Ltd.

Website: www.chad-data.com

CHAD Data Ltd. is a Canadian company holding all ownership and trading rights to extensive Geophysical Potential Field databases in Western and Northern Canada. CHAD Data Ltd. (CHAD) was formed in April 2012, as a spinoff company from GEDCO, when GEDCO was sold to Schlumberger. The name CHAD is simply an anagram made up of the initials of the two largest shareholders, Henry Dunfield and Andreas Cordsen. John Peirce and Bob Charters are also shareholders in the company. Andreas Cordsen, P.Geoph., is the President and CEO of CHAD. CHAD holds a current APEGA Permit to Practice.

CHAD’s geophysical databases consist of High Resolution AeroMagnetic (HRAM) data and Gravity data in Western and Northern Canada. CHAD continues to license this data to all interested parties, including companies exploring for oil and gas, minerals, deep geothermal energy, and other resources in Western and Northern Canada.

CHAD’s HRAM databases consist of approximately 637,600 line km of data which cover large parts of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin in Alberta and BC, as well as most of the Canadian part of the Williston Basin in SE Saskatchewan. Our HRAM data were all acquired with GPS technology, and tight flight and tie-line spacings suitable for most intra-sedimentary exploration targets. The HRAM data have been culturally edited to remove all identifiable man-made magnetic artifacts and noise.

CHAD’s gravity databases are comprised of a variety of vintages, ranging from older land based data acquired in parts of the Mackenzie Delta and AB/BC Foothills, through extensive on-ice coverage in the Beaufort Sea (approx. 74,500 stations), to two contemporary airborne data sets acquired in the year 2000 (approx. 20,460 line km). The ground and airborne data have inner and outer terrain/ice corrections computed and applied where applicable.

Transworld Technologies Inc.

Website: www.transworldtechinc.com

Communities of microbes live in many mature waterfloods, especially those producing heavy oil. The microbes gain their energy by breaking down portions of the oil to smaller molecules, ultimately to methane. This is a natural process, responsible for transforming lighter oils into basin-scale deposits of very heavy oil and biodegrading the oils present in numerous other oil reservoirs around the world.
The biodegradation process can be made to work in commercial time (“BioEOR”) by providing the microbes with chemical activators in dilute concentrations. Once stimulated, the microbes will produce methane gas. In conventional reservoir rocks, the new methane will serve as an effective and durable flow diversion agent, expanding the waterflood’s swept zone and increasing oil recovery. Important aspects of this technology are its focus on stimulating native microbes where they already live, without inoculating with any new microbes, and without introducing significant chemical changes to the reservoir environment. Field footprint is light and temporary, and deployment costs are low.
BioEOR has recently been deployed into a small waterflooded Glauconite pool in the Jenner Field of SE Alberta. This pool produces 19o oil with viscosity of about 70 cp. First BioEOR injections were in June 2017. Early results include production and injection responses that demonstrate flow diversion, and increases in oil production.
